Even with the recent improvements, it's still not much of a box compared to the competition and is going to have to do a bit more yet to earn it's place under the TV. What might help? Be more of a streaming hub, be bigger (storage) but smaller (size), more UI eyecandy as well as more content (Hulu, Myspace TV, Joost plug-ins no?). Ah, this might do the trick...

There's a couple of directions in current and new site designs we're seeing. Out of curiosity, does the big chunky style (classic web2.0 if you will) do it for you - as seen on basecamp, skype, bbc.co.uk. Or does the smaller text, more space design (web2.5?) push your buttons - seen on the new Last.fm, delicious, facebook.
